32.5 hours per week 39 weeks term-time only required for September 2024

Hours of work are 8.45am – 3.45pm

This role will require the successful candidate to deal with the medical needs of the child/children to which you are assigned this will include intimate care and administration of medicine and feeding.

The school is looking for someone who has:

• A level 2 qualification in teaching and learning
• Recent experience of employment as a teaching assistant working with pupils with Autism, Profound or Multiple Learning Difficulties or Severe Learning Difficulties

You will need to:

• be a reflective and responsive teaching assistant who is committed to working with the children, their families and the community
• be able to work in partnership with professionals from education, health and social care to ensure high quality provision for these pupils
• be committed in supporting areas of the curriculum development and school approaches, undertaking training as appropriate
